Summary:
The E-commerce Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the growth and success of our e-commerce operations. This position requires a highly detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of various e-commerce platforms, tools, and strategies. The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales channels, implementing effective marketing campaigns, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and enhance the website's design, functionality, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to online shopping, payment gateways, or order fulfillment.
2. Drive online sales and revenue:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Optimize product listings, including descriptions, images, and keywords, to maximize visibility and search engine rankings.
- Analyze web analytics and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
3. Execute digital marketing campaigns:
- Coordinate and execute e-mail marketing campaigns, including drafting compelling content, managing subscriber lists, and analyzing campaign performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement paid advertising campaigns on various digital platforms.
- Utilize social media channels to engage with customers, promote products, and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms.
4. Provide exceptional customer service:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and issues related to online shopping.
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure efficient order fulfillment, timely delivery, and effective returns or exchanges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in e-commerce operations management, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proficiency in utilizing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, e-mail marketing, and social media marketing.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with web design principles and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of online payment gateways and fraud prevention techniques is desirable.
